Tequila 30-30 is produced and owned by a Mexican family, who only in the 1990s started creating Tequila, as they were previously agave growers for many generations and decided it’s time to bottle their own creation. As they originated as agave growers they have incredible knowledge regarding their beautiful succulents and are able to harvest each individual plant when it is perfectly ripe and has reached maturity, giving their end product a remarkably sweet flavour. Produced in the highlands of Jalisco it is fantastic to use in cocktails and on it’s own as it can satisfy even demanding palates with its slick body, grassy aroma and a lingering aftertaste that proves its quality.
30-30 refers to the .30-30 Winchester Rifle that used to defeat the French during their 2nd invasion of Mexico, at the battle of Puebla (5 May, 1862), a victory that is to this day celebrated every year, known as Cinco de Mayo.
