Since 1795 when Jacob Beam started to sell corn-whiskey - a recipe passed down from his German father - seven generations of the Beam family have been involved in the creation of the whiskey that is known as Jim Beam. Named for James B. Beam, who popularised the business after prohibition and rebuilt the Clermont distillery in only 120 days, Jim Beam has been the world’s top-selling bourbon ever since. The distillery prides itself on its production method of aging the bourbon twice as long as required by law.
This is the Rye pre-prohibition style Jim Beam.
