Bottled and labelled for the US market at 96 proof or 55% ABV.  FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR RE0USE OF THIS BOTTLE dates the glass to 1933-64, but the label, bottle-shape, sand-blasted lettering and maroon wax with orange paper seal date it to 1941-51.  Magical, and delicious!
