The first limited edition release made by Tanqueray.
Based on a recipe from 1835 from the Tanqueray archives, brought back to life by master distiller Tom Nichol, and re-launched with a limited edition run of just 100,000 bottles worldwide in June 2014.
The label is a replica of the last production in the early 1920s.
Made using the same four core botanicals as the traditional London Dry Gin: angelica root, coriander seed, licorice root, and juniper - in varied proportions - and then sweetens it with beet root sugar.
One of 100,000 bottles.
