What's in a name?  It seems that the difference between Carpano 'Punt e Mes' as Vermut Amaro and Red Vermouth is really down to what Carpano decided to write on the label, which changes from bottle to bottle.  This is why you'll see Carpano categorised as a Red Amaro as well as Red Vermouth.

Whichever which way, it's delish.
