The origin of Parfait Amour - or, the Perfect Love - is claimed by the House of Lucas Bols. So this bottle is from the horse's mouth, as it were.
There are several forms. That coming from Bols appears to be a curaçao base, flavoured with rose petals, vanilla and almonds. The colour is supposedly derived from violet petals.
The reverse label reads: "Bols Parfait Amour has a rich and beloved aroma and is the most exotic of all Bols liqueurs. Parfait Amour is a liqueur which particularly appeals to ladies."
Oh really...?
