Established in 1819, the House of Bisquit was the work of founder Alexandre Bisquit who went out into the world to promote his Cognacs – travelling not only through Europe but from Africa to the Americas. He understood the importance of cultivating things over time, a philosophy he used in his Cognacs, employing a unique and much longer distillation process.

A bottling of the 3-Star Cognac from Bisquit. 3-Star was the term of classification denoting the spirits maturation period, before terminology changed to the VS, VSOP and XO statements seen today; 3-Star is equivalent to the younger VS classification.

Said to be amongst the favourite cognacs of King George IV and Winston Churchill, its home is Chateau de Ligneres by the banks of the Charente River.
