A combination of Bénédictine and brandy makes this liqueur less sweet than Bénédictine itself.  Bénédictine and Brandy (known as B&B) was first introduced as a mixed drink in the 1930s at New York's "21" Club, followed by the first pre-bottled version in 1937.  This bottle has a wonderful elegance to it.
