An historic bottle of Bacardi white rum, distilled by the Bacardi family in Santiago de Cuba, the ancestral home of the brand. While the company expanded production (specifically into Mexico and Puerto Rico) through the first half of the 20th century, Santiago would remain the heart of the business until the Cuban revolution when and the company relocated its headquarters to Bermuda.
With a mention of the company's New York office on the label, this bottle dates to the post-Prohibition era of the early 1930s, after the the updating of the logo to a new version in 1931.
