Another commemorative rum bottling from Matthew Brown & Co. Ltd. of Blackburn, this time celebrate the 150th anniversary of the company.   Matthew Brown was a prominent historic British brewery based at the Lion Brewery in Blackburn, Lancashire. While primarily known for brewing regional beers, pale ales, and stouts, the company also operated as wine and spirit merchants. During the mid-to-late 20th century, they sourced, blended, and bottled premium imported rums which have today become highly sought-after vintage collector's items at auction.
