"This is a very special Bourbon, our first collaborative cask with Maker’s Mark Distillery and to me it brings together everything that is special about this place. From the purity and brightness of the water from Hardin’s Creek, to the regeneratively farmed sweet corn and red winter wheat, everything that goes into making this whisky is tied closely to the land here. The result is a spirit that truly encapsulates the welcoming warmth and intensity of flavour inherent in the spirits made here.

The palate is rich with sweet-scented, plump corn kernels, baking-spice inflected pastries, apricot syrup, toasted almonds and honeyed marzipan. Like so many wonderful whiskies, the joy is to be found in the ceaselessly shifting interplay between grain and wood, making and ageing, people and place. I can scarcely imagine a Bourbon I’d rather drink."
