When the volume of a bottle is given as 26 2/3 fluid ounces this corresponds to 75.7cl metric.  Naturally this was (sadly) rounded down to 75cl once the imperial system of measurement edged towards obsoleteness.  That extra 70ml is a much missed dram from today's bottlings as wouldn't it be nice if, once the end of the bottle is reached, there's just a little bit more...
