In the 1960s much of the Beam's Choice 8 Year Old Bourbon intended for the US market was bottled in a series of decanters. Famous European artists, Wedgwood styled vases, famous western prints, even Whistler's Mother and Barbara Eden's I Dream of Jeanie bottle got the treatment. Thankfully this example, bottled for the Italian market, took a little more respectable tack. It is Jim Beam after all, and it is 8 years old, so show some respect!
This bottle is from Collector's Edition, Volume VI, featuring three masterpieces from the Golden Age of Dutch painting, Charles I by Anthony Van Dyck and The Merry Lute Player and Boy Holding a Flute, both by Franz Hals!
