Signed J. London, the Brutalist designs to the building, with a Moran's truck to the foreground. Glazed and framed in aluminium sheet over wood.
Morans of Bristol (historically Morans (Bristol) Limited) was a notable Bristol-based wine and spirit merchant company. Founded c. 1926, the company operated primarily out of 42 Welsh Back in Bristol. The firm imported and bottled a variety of wines and ports, occasionally releasing special bottlings for historical commemorations, such as the 1970 Sandeman Charter Vintage Port and various Spanish wines. By 1984, the company had been acquired by brewing and hospitality group Whitbread PLC.
It is not known whether the present design was ever realised as a building.
