Henry Hobson Finch founded his eponymous empire back in 1865, which eventually grew to include 22 London pubs and a small chain of five Bill Bentley's wine bars and restaurants. The portfolio changed hands in 1991 when brewers Young's bought it, absorbing it into its own growing empire.  H. H. Finch's Ltd. was originally located in Marylebone W1.
