First released in 1984, the 900th anniversary year of the founding of the Carthusian Order, Génépi des Pères Chartreux is softer, minty, floral, and deeply herbaceous with notes of fresh hay and alpine chamomile rather than the heavy spice punch of Green Chartreuse.  This bottling was produced for the 30th anniversary of the product in 2014.  A special bottling indeed.
