Kirin Brewery Company of Japan purchased the Four Roses brand In February 2002 from Diageo. This was an exclusive release for the Japanese market.  The bourbon that makes up this Four Roses Super Premium 80% is said to be over 8 years old, while the other 20% is said to be 10 years or older.
