Reine des Liqueurs pays homage to the 19th-century nickname of the famous Carthusian spirit. The 2013 Release consists of only 1,440 bottles and is presented at 43% ABV, echoing the traditional strength of yellow Chartreuse used before 1973. It is crafted by the monks using 130 different plants and flowers, resulting in a profile that is more honeyed and floral than the standard Yellow Chartreuse. The 2013 edition is highly sought-after for its refined balance of sweetness and botanical complexity.
