The recipe hasn't changed since the 19th Century but being in the bottle for over 60 years means this bottle of Bénédictine has had over 60 years to get better, and it definitely has!

The thin foil to the top rather than the more robust lead suggests a date just after WWII, when metal for such frivolities was not in great supply!
