Rémy Martin Grande Champagne Age Inconnu (age unknown) is the oldest quality Cognac supplied by Rémy Martin. The original concept dates back to June 13th, 1874, when Paul-Emile Remy Martin officially registered the brandname of “Louis XIII Tres Grande Champagne – Age Unknown”. Age Inconnu is a blend of 1200 different eau-de-vie meticulously aged between 40 and 100 years, the name under which Louis XIII decanters where sold until around 1962. Age Inconnu remained available in regular bottles until the end of the 1970s.
